Well, I have finally caught up on work, sleep, and family time. I spent this past weekend at the Blog World Expo 2008 in Las Vegas! This was the second annual Blog World Expo, and my first time in attendance. I worked the ServerBeach booth with two of my coworkers, Charnell Pugsley and Leroy Bobadilla. We had a blast and got to meet alot of wonderfull people! A few great people I ran into included Lorelle VanFossen, Lisa Sabin-Wilson, Jason Bean, the Layered Tech guys, as well as many others! I did not get the chance to sit in on any of the sessions, but still had a great time walking around gathering swag meeting people, and working the booth! The coordinator’s did an outstanding job, and I will deffinently be attending next years event! Check out our pictures over here! As well, here is a short video clip of Charnell interviewing Jason!

Kevin – Chris and I had a blast with you, Charnell and Leroy in Vegas. We’re happy to have had the opportunity to spend a good amount of time with you guys and are looking forward to TX in March.

Am I the only one that you all got on video? That’s the one you’re sharing everywhere. Was everyone else boring or something? Maybe everyone else is in the Federal Witness Protection Program.
Hey Jason, I believe your video was the only one that came out decent. There were a few others, yet the background noise was horrendous. We could not acquire a decent hand held microphone in time for the event. Thank you much for the video, and next time we will be sure to get plenty more of footage of BlogWorld!
I’m trying to figure out how I can afford to make it to my next conference. I also know it will be hard to go to another one without bringing my wife along as well.
I hear ya! I paid my way to BlogWorld, and it wasn’t too bad but it sure wasn’t cheap. When IS Vegas cheap! I had a blast, and can’t wait to attend the next conference! I tell ya what, you should try and make the next South by Southwest event in Austin. http://www.sxsw.com/ Last years was a blast!
